Active Duty Military Applicants
Active duty military personnel must apply to the announcement on the USAJOBS web site, answer the screening questions, answer the supplemental questions, and upload official or unofficial transcript(s). Transcript(s) must show type of degree conferred and date conferred. Active duty military personnel must also submit applications for the Astronaut Candidate Program through their respective military services, using procedures and requirements determined by their service. After preliminary screening by the military,eligible applications are submitted to NASA for further consideration. If selected, military personnel are detailed to NASA for a selected period of time.
